Dr. Seyma Handan Akyon is a young researcher and family medicine specialist in Turkey. Her special interests include geriatric care, home health services, artificial intelligence, and digital health technologies in primary care. She serves as the co-lead of the WONCA Young Family Doctors’ (YDM) Digital Health and Artificial Intelligence Special Interest Group. She has developed applications, published several papers, and leads projects on the use of AI in medicine. She is a member of the Human Factors Core Group.
